The Sysmex CA-660 analyser offers an economical, automated solution for low-medium volume laboratories to achieve analytical excellence, workflow efficiency and improved data management.

Analytical excellence:The imprecision of manual coagulation testing is high, with coefficient of variation (CV) of greater than 20%; and duplicate measurement is thus recommended. With Sysmex CA-660, fully automated coagulation analyser, the accuracy has greatly improved, attaining a CV of less than 5%, and as low as 1% for some tests. Based upon its predecessors, the proven optical based detection principle allows operator to visualize the clot formation, and together with its in-built checking algorithm, detect any unusual in-vitro clot formation to avoid reporting inaccurate results.

Workflow efficiency: Medical Technologists can now focus on higher value aspects of laboratory testing such as pre-analytics or post-analytics that require focused attention. Simultaneous analysis of up to 5 parameters and optimal throughput allow laboratories to perform routine and specialty testing such as fibrinogen and D-dimer in greater efficiency.

Excellent data management:Sample barcode reader simplifies sample ID processing and enables security and integrity of patient records. Handheld 2D barcode reader simplifies the data entry process for ISI, control and calibrator values, lot numbers, and expiry information. Data up to 600 samples or 3000 tests can be stored onboard for easy retrieval for review.
